Catalyst was updated on November 2, 2026. Each card below describes one change and links to its Help topic; select the + on a card for the steps. For the full list, including fixes, see the
Release Notes.
You can also open the Help Guide any time from the question mark (?) at the top of the page.
Outside Users Get Their Own Login
Contractors and other people outside your company now sign in to Catalyst to complete the work you assign them.
The first time you assign a form, audit, or task to an email address, that person gets an email to set up a Catalyst login.
They enter their email address, request a verification code, and use it to choose a username and password. They can open the work assigned to them and what is attached to it.
They sign in the same way next time, from the Catalyst sign-in page.
For administrators
In Manage Users, set User Type to External to find them.
Managing them needs the new External Users permission. Check it on the roles of the people who look after outside users, including System Administration.
Assignments sent before this update: use Resend Notification on the assignment row to send a working set-up link.
Each site gets a score in five columns: Compliance, General, Implementation, MI, and PHA.
Pick a site and a monthly snapshot to compare one month with another. Turn on Show Penalty Scores to see the scores with the overdue-work penalties applied.
Seeing the page needs the Reports: Audit Recommendation Scorecard permission.
For administrators
Each audit type now has a Type (Compliance, General, Implementation, MI, or PHA) that decides which column its audits count toward. It is set when the audit type is created and can’t be changed. Existing audit types were given one during the update; check yours on the Audit Types list.
Open an asset and select the Corrective Actions tab.
Each row shows the item, where it came from, and its status, with a Responsible Party where one is assigned. For a task or work order made from a recommendation, expand Source to follow it back.
The list opens on open items. Change the Status filter to Complete or Closed to see finished work, or filter by Type or Source Type.
Find Documents by Category and Asset
Filter document lists and folders by several categories, assets, asset types, and asset processes at once.
